Andrea Mozo, doing business as Product for Impact ("we") runs this site and the List, a directory of social impact organizations with product teams. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
What we collect and why
- Your email address. When you sign in or join, we use your email to create your account and send you a sign-in link. There are no passwords.
- Payment records. Full Access is a one-time $119 payment handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record that you paid, the Stripe payment reference and the date, so we can give you access.
- Jobs and Live emails. If you ask for the Jobs email or Live event announcements, your email address is sent to Kit, our newsletter service, so we can send the updates you chose. We may also send Kit campaign information from the signup link. Jobs and Live subscriptions are separate and do not create a List account. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Email updates when you join. When you sign up for an account, the box for email updates is ticked by default. Unticking it changes nothing about your account — it only means we don't add your address to our email lists. If you leave it ticked, your email address is sent to Kit so we can send event announcements, new Jobs, and List updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Basic visit information. Our hosting provider runs the site and its database and counts page visits so we can see how the site is used. We don't use advertising trackers.
Services that help us
- Lovable Cloud: hosting, accounts, sign-in emails and our database.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Kit: the Jobs email, Live event announcements, and email updates for people who join and agree to receive them.
- Google Fonts: the site's typefaces. Loading them shares your IP address with Google.
We only share what each service needs to do its job. We don't sell your personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
We store a small sign-in token in your browser to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Information on the List
The List shows public work information: organization details, careers pages, and product leaders' names, job titles and LinkedIn links. Leader details are shown only to Full Access members. If you're listed and want your entry corrected or removed, email hello@productforimpact.org and we'll take care of it.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete your account information by emailing hello@productforimpact.org.
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom.
- Deleting your account ends your access to the List.
How long we keep information
We keep your account for as long as you have one. We keep payment records as long as needed for tax and accounting.
Children
This site is not meant for anyone under 18. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older when they join.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
